When a loved one passes, it can be a very challenging time. For many, it is also an opportunity to consider fond memories that they have of a loved one as well. Many families make the decision to come together to do something special in memory of someone who has passed on as a symbol of the fact that the spirit of their memory lives on. This brings to mind a great way to create a family memorial - name a star after them.

If you decide to create a family memorial, name a star after a loved one, and begin a new family tradition, there are some great options out there. In addition to naming a star (that was previously just a number) after someone who has passed, you can receive a beautiful certificate of registration, star maps, and other memorabilia to have as family keep sakes.

You can do this by yourself and make it a gift to the rest of your family, or enlist other family members in the process, and even possibly pick out a constellation together for the star to be a part of. Either way, this is a sure way to create positive memories for a very special family member.

It's amazing how such a deep and meaningful gesture can also be extremely economical. Who would have thought that doing something as monumental as naming a natural object after someone that you loved and respected would be something that is affordable for just about everyone? So, if you are thinking of creating a family memorial - name a star after your loved one. You won't regret it, and you won't go broke in the process either.

And if you choose to create a family memorial, name a star after a loved one, and present it to the rest of your family, you can rest assured that you have created a family tradition and preserved a legacy for generations to come.
