When a member of your family dies, the first thing that may come to your mind is to let other family members and friends know of the death. Naturally, you would want them to be present during the memorial service and burial. Besides, nothing beats the feeling of having family and friends near to comfort you during your time of sorrow.

In order to notify family and friends who might be living far from where you are, it would be best to send out a funeral notice.
