How to Hypnotize Someone With Conversational Hypnotism

I conducted one of my corporate workshops this morning, the title of the workshop was Goal Setting andAchieving. There was one interesting question from thegroup that reflects a general problem faced by many employees all over the world, which is, How to get a person to change and accept new ideas or approach, especially the boss or a superior? The goal here is, of course,to further improvethe company. Sometimes it frustrates when good ideas aregiven but yet they are not really considered. Although it happens onlyonce in a while, it does affect the mind and de-motivates.

Ismiled and promised an answer, but before that I requested that they keep anopen mind as they may find the answer shocking or difficult to digest. They listened attentively. First and foremost a person cannot make another person change, unless the other person WANTS to change, or ALLOWS change to come over him!

As such, if you are going to spend your time thinking on how to make your boss or superior change or anyone else for the fact, then Isuggest you keep some aspirins with you as it is going tofrustrate you, drive you nuts and eventually give you a severe headache. The interesting truth is, as you are going through this mental torture, your superior or boss on the other end may not even be aware that you want him or her to change; and he or she continues to lead life happily as usual!

If you wish tochange the world around you then you have to start with yourself first. As the wise man says, The world within reflects the world without!. Whatdoes it actually mean, If you want the world to change then start with yourself first? WHAT ACTUALLY MUST YOU DO? As myparticipants looked at me intently, I continued.

First, as per theLaw of Vibration and Attraction, you will only attract to you those who are in tune with your own thoughts who produce the similar vibrations. Vibrations alike attract people alike!

In that case, if you find your superior stubborn and not acceptable to the ideas presented, then probably youare stubborn too in some other areas of your own life with regards to people around you! Please read again the last statement! Read it! DO NOT ignore it! Ponder over it, seriously, no matter how unacceptable it is to you!

You could bestubborn in other areas of your life, for example, with your spouse, kids, relatives, parents, siblings, friends etc. For an example, let's say yourwife has been telling you to kick off your smoking habit fora long time since she feels it is a threat to your health. But you may have been ignoring it, or you may have been too stubborn to go for a proper medical checkup as advised by your doctor.

Or, you may be too stubborn to seek apology for your mistake that caused serious heart ache to a friend, or you could be too stubborn to settle an old feud with a relative even though he or she is prepared to, or you may be ignoring fantastic ideas coming your way to help improve your life. It could be anything! BUT only YOU know what it is!

The vibration that you are sending out which hasthe attitude STUBBORN subtly interwoven in it, attracts to you the similar type of people, for an example your superior. As you begin to correct yourself, you will eventually reduce the negative vibration (stubborn). This is the first step in allowing changes to takeplace in your life.

There are some people who, personally believing that their ideasare perfect, expect them to be totally accepted when presented to their superior. However, if the superior finds a fault in the idea and shoots it down, they become frustrated and sulk. They then waste their time complainingabout the superior. In the future, remembering the incident, they havedifficulty putting their best foot forward to come up with ideas when the superior requires them to.

There are many serious flaws in the thinking patterns of this type of people. It can cause devastating effects to the organization. Can you imagine if an organization becomes dearth of new ideas? How then to stay ahead of competition?

I noticed my participants were listening attentively; I gave two examples to drive in the point I was making. The first was about football (soccer): let's say the playmaker of the game managed to dribble the ball through a series of players from the opposite team and finally reaches the opposite goal, aims and shoots. The point blank shot which is a sure 100% goal is miraculously saved by the opposite team goalkeeper! It is dubbed as the best save of the century!

Now, let us see what happens to the playmaker, who has failed to score the goal. Would he sulk and complain to everybody that the goalkeeper did not allow him to score? Would he decide to NEVER try again because the goalkeeper is stubborn and would not allow him to score? Would he walk up to the goalkeeper and yell at him for not allowing him to score? Would he question the goalkeeper on why he is so stubborn that he did not allow his shot through?!!

Sounds very silly, doesn't it? In reality, what naturally happensis, the playmaker mayjustgetfrustratedfornot scoring:hemay slumponhis knees, hemay bite his teethinanger, getmadwith himself formissingthe opportunity, orhemayignorantly blamehisso-called'luck',buthe definitelywould notfind fault in thegoalkeeper!Onethingis forsure, in notime, hewould recollecthimself, continueto play his role as a football player, and be more determinedtoscorethe nexttime.

Iobserved that my participantswerein deepthought. I proceededto give them another example, my own story. For more than tenyears now, I have strived to do my besttospread the knowledge and insightson the workings of Laws of Nature, the basic seven laws, through my training programs and books.

Some speak positively of my efforts, and of course there are those who are highly critical of my work. I also know of some who condemn me either directly or indirectly for reasons only known to them. Does this frustrate me? The truth is at times it does, especially during the early days. Here I am, trying to do my small bit in helping to make the world a better place, and yet I get hammered for even taking the effort. Yes, at times it frustrates me, especially when people tell me that the insights and ideas that I shared with them do not work, without even them giving it a try by putting into practice. Some of these people even discourage others from trying as well.

Once, many years ago while I was giving some ideas to a participant to solve his financial woes, suddenly another participant simply walked up to me and said that he agreed with all the stuff that I had shared, especially Nature's laws. I felt good hearing that and the other participant I was talking to also agreed with him.

However, in the same breath, he said that he refused to put into practice the ideas because they came from someone other than his religion, and that would be me! Now, how would you feel if someone tells you that straight on the face? I was flabbergasted! After saying that, he just walked away and the other person who was listening to me also became discouraged and followed him!

However, all these do not stop me; frustrated once in a while, yes, but to quit or discouraged is definitely a big NO! Rather than wasting time finding fault in others, I just get myself back into the game, listen to the feedback objectively and do my best to improve my material, myself, and make better effort to deliver it in the best possible manner.

At this point, I asked my participants, Why do you think I continue to give my best in whatever I do?

The responses I received from my participants varied: Because you love doing what you do, You do not give a damn to those critics, It is your passion, etc. As they went on with their opinions, I said they were right to a certain extent, but there was one important reason missing. After pondering for a while, they gave up. I smiled and proceeded to give the answer.

DUTY, I wrote on the whiteboard. My participants were now looking at me, puzzled. The companies and individuals who hire my services whether for training programs, seminars, or personal coaching are expecting ONLY the best from me. As such, it is my duty to give my very best for the money they are paying.

Part of the money I receive for my services I use to clothe and feed my family. If I slack in my services, Law of Cause and Effect would ensure that the happiness, health and wealth of my family would also slack. What I mean by slacking in my services is rather than focusing on doing my work better, I spend time finding fault and criticizing others!

Accordingly, Nature would slack in other areas of my life. Why not, I have received money but did not provide the best for it. Nature would then balance it out through Law of Cause and Effect. Normally, it would affect the happiness, health and then followed by wealth.

For example, I may have serious misunderstanding with my family that cause unhappiness, or I may fall ill and suffer pain, or my car engine may overheat and breakdown and I would need to fork out a large amount of money to get it repaired, etc. In its own way, Nature would ensure a balance is established!

As such, it is absolutely important that we always remember our DUTY, and carry it out accordingly. If we are paid for something, then make sure that the job is done the best possible way. For example, if you are an engineer, then make sure that you do nothing less than your best at your workplace. Whether your superior accepts your ideas, or ridicules it, or your hard work is not appreciated, or whatever other positives or negatives that is happening around you; the quality of thoughts, words and actions that you have towards your work must not be affected at all. The reason is very simple. You are paid to do the job, and not to get frustrated, to criticize or sulk!

At this point, I related to my class a question forwarded by a participant a year ago at another company where I conducted a similar seminar. The person said that it was really frustrating when he was not appreciated for the work he did, and on top of that someone else got the credit and rewarded for the work that he did. He was angry and upset.

I told him straight on the face that his line of thinking was wrong! Why?

An ordinary man's mind is very limited. He forgets the greatness of Nature which is always working in a subtle way and not apparent to the limited physical senses of human being! He learns from religion that the almighty Creator is fair; and at the same time he learns through science that there are definite laws governing this universe, for example gravity, Newton's Laws, especially the Newton's third law that says, Every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

But, alas, a man's ability to think and reason out has been clouded by his physical senses. His eyes are now on the superior and they do not appreciate his work; thus, he starts to feel resentment. He begins to find fault in everybody else except himself. He does not think anymore. He becomes a slave to his physical senses. This is when he forgets his duty!

As he does this, Nature too conveniently forgets ITS duty to make sure that his happiness, health and wealth are taken care of. If he had just thought a little deeper, then he would have come to a realization that his positive work will DEFINITELY be appreciated by Nature and actually rewarded, in a matter of time: even though he felt that his work was not appreciated by his superior or someone else got the credit for his hard work!

How does Nature reward?, you may ask. For an instance, while spending quality time with your family, your son may blurt out an idea that you could use to achieve your goals in life, or maybe somewhere down the road eighteen years later, when your children need scholarship to study, someone comes out of nowhere to sponsor them.

Or, you may detect a serious illness in your body while in its early stage and manage to get it cured. Or someone from another company may notice your dedication to your job and offers you a better pay with greater opportunities. Or you may come across a true spiritual master who is able to awaken your inner-self and guide you spiritually. Now, I hope I have given enough scenarios to explain how the law works.

As the wise men say, Leave it to Nature. It has been around since the beginning. Its wisdom has no comparison. All thoughts, words and actions will never go unnoticed! All dues would be settled! Good begets good, and bad begets bad!

As such, all a person has to do is to continue to think, speak and do his or her best in whatever he or she is involved in at every moment of life. This could be while at work attending to your duty, or at home spending quality time with your family. You will definitely be rewarded, accordingly!

Now, coming back to the original question asked by one of the participant, How to get a person to change and be acceptable to new ideas, especially the boss or superior? The goal here is to further improve the company. Sometimes it is frustrating when ideas are not accepted or even considered.

All a person has to do is continue to come up with better ideas, or continue to improve on the existing ideas. The question whether it is accepted or not does not matter: nor does it matter whether recognition is given or not. Just think, say and do your best. Let Nature and its powerful laws take care of the rest!

CHANGE YOURSELF AND THE WORLD WOULD FOLLOW SUIT!.
